REPORT ON ORDINANCE No.............................of 9V 1921.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled
an Ordinance to amend further the Bills of Exchange Ordinance, 1885,
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the
Governor's Instructions.
Faragraph (4) of section 72 of the Bills of Exchange Ordinance, 1865, provides that where a bill is drawn out of but payable in this Colony, and the sun payable is not expressed in the currency of this Colony, the amount shall, in the absence of some express stipulation,
